Faatak collects information necessary to provide society management services. This includes: resident personal details (name, phone number, flat number) provided during registration; visitor information (name, contact, purpose of visit) logged during entry; vehicle details (number plate, type, owner) for authentication; device information for app functionality; and usage data to improve our services. All data is collected with explicit consent and for legitimate operational purposes.
Your information is used to: authenticate residents, visitors, and vehicles at society gates; send OTP-based login codes via SMS; generate and verify QR codes for visitor entry; maintain visitor and vehicle logs for society security; process maintenance payments; manage complaints and amenity bookings; and provide support services. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
FISHTECH Solutions employs industry-standard security practices. All data passes through a secured encryption framework (AES-256) to protect against phishing and unauthorized access. Our servers are hosted in compliant data centers with regular security audits. Access to resident data is restricted to authorized society management and FISHTECH support staff under strict need-to-know protocols. We maintain audit logs of all data access.
Visitor logs are retained for 12 months from the date of entry. Vehicle records are maintained for the duration of the resident's stay plus 6 months. Resident personal data is deleted within 30 days of account termination upon written request. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian financial regulations (IT Act 2000). You may request data export or deletion by contacting support@fishtechsoluions.com.
Under applicable Indian data protection regulations, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements); opt out of non-essential communications; and lodge complaints with your society management committee or contact FISHTECH directly. The Faatak mobile apps request the following permissions: Camera (for QR code scanning and vehicle plate photography); Location (optional, for gate proximity features); Notifications (for visitor alerts and society announcements); Storage (for offline data caching). The admin web panel uses session cookies for authentication only. No tracking cookies or third-party advertising scripts are used.
